Online Classes

Online Classes

Online classes are delivered via ZOOM, which you need to install in advance.  Classes are taught to individual students and in groups in an interdisciplinary, holistic manner, which means that different subjects are interwoven and taught simultaneously, while the student learns how to build up their critical thinking skills and understand the connections among different subjects, their own self and the world around them.

Single Classes

there is one child in the class and the teacher follows the child’s individual ability to engage and learn. The focus is on the child’s way of thinking and doing and the relationship between the child and the teacher.

Group Classes

students of mixed ages, minimum 2 students and maximum 5 students in the group. The teacher facilitates group connections and the ways of interacting among the children. The focus is on learning through social interaction.

Before I add a student to the group, I do an evaluation on Zoom and then I create the most appropriate group where students’ abilities and talents will be maximised. I will be observing the relations and chemistry between the students at all times and I may make a decision of a group change where needed.

"Thanks to Marta’s online classes, my son, Lluvia, aged 5.5 has become more independent in dealing with classroom situations and in his thinking process. He has got more strength from being heard with attention and got more confidence in communicating with classmates from different backgrounds and countries. . Marta’s classes were the window to the world for us and Lluvia wishes for them to be never-ending”

" Marta is a creative and enthusiastic teacher, who succeeds in bringing online lessons to life. Our daughter benefited immensely from her creative approach, especially arts and crafts combined with scientific experiments and writing poetry. Each session included physical element, like dancing or jumping around and ended up with a quiet reading time on the floor. Thanks, Marta!."

"Liam really enjoyed the online lessons. He was missing the company of children his own age, so interacting with the other children his age online made him feel part of the group and cheered him up. He particularly liked the experiments and making the city from cardboard paper, making a map of the United Kingdom from play-dough and making sea creatures from recyclable wastes. For us, parents, it was lovely to hear Liam laugh along with Marta and the boys in his class, especially during the school closure, which was not an easy time"
